envoyé par incominglinerz29200 Native from western France, Henchmen is a collective, a project for producers, Djs, musicians, artists, singers to meet and evolve in the same environment : manifesting their emotions through their music.Nicolas De Floriant and Chris.G met in 1995. Nicolas was resident in a trendy club in western France, having released several 12 inches in collaboration with Sébastien Léger (Deaf’N’Dumb Crew) on French and foreign labels.Chris.G discovered this environment in the 1990's and flew to Ibiza in 2001, where “enriching and benefitial” meetings allowed him upon his return to work alongside the best French and foreign labels supporting their music. He also kept close links with many Djs and producers. They work together with their sound engineer Phil Samartino and other musicians, bass players, singers and pianists.Their musical style is House with elements of Deep, Jazzy, Nu Jazz, Acid, Minimal, Electro and Tek, creating an emotional and warm atmosphere, light and spiritual, with a hint of sensual sounds and surprisingly deep and hypnotic atmospheres.Requests for their sets are numerous, mixing in France as well as abroad, from bars to clubs, after parties, art galleries, radio shows, casinos, student official reception and large events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, Borealis and Astropolis festivals… This gives them great opportunities of playing with Antoine Clamaran, Djulz, Claude Monnet, Daft Punk, Dan ghenacia, Didier Sinclair, Bob Sinclar, Laurent Wolf, Jack De Marseille, Paul Johnson, Gant Garrard, Stephanovitch, Charles Schilling, Arnaud Le Texier, Roussia, Lady B, Laurent Garnier, Fafa Monteco, Dj Funk and others.This gives them great opportunities to showcase their productions and gather feedback from the public. The sound of Henchmen propels you into a different musical experience, their sets respond to the reaction and the mood of the public. A free spirited groovy, hypnotic and dynamic house, always hard-hitting and harmonious, their sets vary according to their locations and audiences. Their productions are a perfect mix in between home listening and dancefloors, eclecticism remaining for them the best definition of electronic music.Their first EP “Needin' U' Baby”, distributed by Topplers, was released on the English label House Not Home. An artistic collaboration is then set up and Chris.G will be in charge of the Artistic Management. The title is well received and successful, played on the largest French and foreign music radios. It was released on the Fashion TV compilation(Dj Center/Sony), and in licence in Russia.A few months later the Nice Music label offers them to remix their artist Faïza Kangoor, supported by famous Dj' S.At the end of 2006, They collaborated with Arno Cost and their new track Women will be released in 2007 on the label D-Track Industry, remixed by famous dj such that Mario Ochoa, Chris Kaeser & Swindlers.Women is already on famous international Djs playlists, and feature high on French on foreign Radio listings.The English label Velvet Disco proposes a beautiful musical adventure, offering them to remix their futur release I”ll Give You by famous Dj Producter Lenny Fontana & Byron Stingily, followed by a track by Henchmen called USA to be released in April 2007.Today, Henchmen are 2 respected Dj producers in France and abroad.They are also write for the famous celebrity magazine Nightlife in which they have a full page to review their favourite music.
