A twisted dream became reality...
In 2001, two men decided to create a company that would become a prominent force in the world of true underground horror. Five years later, the independent company is just budding.
At the beginning there was James Riser , who is still president today, and Irving Bogard .
Born in Blood
Macabre Production's first feature film attempt was plagued with diffculties throughout its production.
With a script written by James, drawing from such influences as classic films like Frankenstein and cult films like Evil Dead. The Project seeked financing, which was found in English teacher, David Hinkley, there were several casting calls held in libraries and college campuses. After several cast changes, a line up was finalized, one of its members included Angelique Hennessy ; star of the award winning film, Bad Reputation.
Problems started on the fist day of filming when two of the key characters did not arrive on set, and had to be replaced on the spot, and the SPFX company assigned to the film also dropped out.
In the middle of production, the film's main location was taken away and scenes had to be re-filmed at all new locations.
The Crew (which included Assitant Director and future Vice-president; Mika Renee') filmed as much as they could, but eventually two of the main actors also dropped from the project.
With several of the actor gone, a skeleton crew, dwindling budget James and Mika salvaged together what footage they could and began the post-production process of editing.
After watching the minimal footage, they evenutally decided that is was best to debunk the project at re-film at a later time.
Macabre Productions will begin Pre-production in the beginning of 2007
From 2001 to 2006 Macabre Productions has met with many disapointments due to inexperience, but now with James Riser as president and Mika Renee' as vice president and a strong distain for the new horror mainstream they are focused and ready to show the world the twisted images that come from their dark minds.

Half Hillbilly and half Punk. James Patrick Riser is an American writer who lived in Southern California with his wife and cat. His fiction has appeared on DemonMinds.com, in The Open Vein e-zine, on Midnight in Hell.com and on MicroHorror.com. James has recently been committed to Lake Park Asylum for his bizarre crimes against humanity. He spends his time, in the Ward for the Criminally Insane, devouring small insects, mumbling to himself, meticulously grooming his pubic hairs and writing horror fiction.

Horror film fan at an early age, Mae Macabre is a multi-talented vixen, who is in charge of the music part of Macabre Production's entertainment, she is also the official model for Macabre Productions. Aside from modeling, she acts, sings, plays keyboards and guitar. She also fronts her own band, Mika and The Horror Fiends.
