WHISPER

Whisper was started in 1999 when Alter and Heathenghost began associating due to common interest in music and local mysteries. They made raw recordings of their practices and wrote original material. January 2005 Ghost got a 4 track recorder and they created the first Whisper CD entitled “Ilchester”. The saga of Whisper begun and was limited to a mere fifty copies distributed into the underground. The music hypnotically reveals haunting and psychedelic atmospheres. Black and white photography depicts the crumbling ruins of “Hell House”, a now demolished Catholic seminary that was haunted or possessed by destructive and undeniable supernatural forces. The morbidly poetic lyrics are akin Edgar Allen Poe or Jim Morrison, and suggest a concept of transcending death. Little else is know about the band.
