i have a phamily cirkus and rock star dreams...

About Me

Myspace Layouts For Girls
in an effort to let it go and hope that what is to be will come into my life with ease. there is already another page for the phamily cirkus and this page could become anything by the end of the year. it is my channel for dreaming. i am the daydream achiever. juicy is the dream. right now, i am experiencing this page as a link between myself and a future touring band. other dreams are to own my home on olivette (all-of-it) road and to spend the rest of 2007, as well as 2008 and 2009, homeschooling my two boys and traveling.
IF YOU ARE SEEKING A ROAD BASED CAREER IN MUSIC with annual studio projects and are focused on the stage as a platform for many things and intend to utilize your opportunities for the evolution of mankind AND you are located in (or willing to relocate to) ASHEVILLE NC, let's be friends. Check out the tunes here, as well as
myspace.com/ashevillemusic
if learning about 30 originals and peppering the repertoire with atleast a dozen covers, heading into the studio this summer and autumn to record a few songs for my sophomore collection "just call me, mary", and hanging out (very) regularly in a laid-back, yet sacred, home preparing for a global tour and walking the walk of the evolution revolution sounds like a good time... then get in touch.
gold records on the wall... that's a cool goal. this is kitchen mastering in chapel hill, nc where travis leonard mastered "white trash goddess" this past summer. those gold records belong to the squirrel nut zippers. they just did ani difranco's last record, so maybe they'll be adding some more... doesn't she have gold records?
a relationship with the divine through creation and evolution. manifesting the mental with the fire of emotion into the physical realm. these are also goals...
i am into thinking outside the box
i like the idea of being around for a very long time
bring on the band. may i have the energy and passion of those who have rocked before me, eternally inspired to perform as a cog in some larger mechanism that creates the whole concept... fulfilling an infinite vision. may i learn to jam... with you?
for people who travel together tend to take care of eachother. no slaves to the bottle. no prisoners of the pipe. pick your demons wisely if you know your fruit is ripe. if you like the tunes and believe in going the distance..... maybe this is YOUR story.

YOU?

Seeking BASS, DRUMS and whatever else happens to roll along.

I have a fondness for keys. The occasional (or flawlessly genre crossing) mandolin, violin and other stringed instruments are always appreciated.

Horns are great. Lots of things are great.

Openmindedness, a love and respect for children, unending patience and a positive attitude.

The ability to motivate one another and respect one another's differences and desires is crucial to the long-term ability to travel and work together 24/7 in small spaces.

People who are willing to give the extra energy required of working with non-profits, pursuing radio promotions and visiting an array of community service centers - public schools, hospital pediatric and psyche wards, veteran's hospitals and community worship centers - depending on the project being promoted and it's affiliations.

you could say...

Influences: well.... in the 70's (the beginning) there were bette midler, janis joplin, motown - stevie wonder and aretha franklin, in particular. also, linda ronstadt, sonny & cher and peter frampton. a bit of elvis. liza minelli big time. in the 80's... violent femmes. g-n-r? it was so much crap and much more about the visuals for a few years there. so i discovered things like led zeppelin, patsy cline, johnny cash and the beatles. also discovered suzanne vega and the indigo girls. the 90's brought pearl jam and nirvana and jane's addiction. and dwight yoakam and classical music. at some point in the 90's i discovered bob marley, van morrison and the grateful dead. and les claypool serves as constant inspiration to re-create and enjoy one's craft. to be ever-expanding your boundaries and influence and exploring new territories...i promise to try...Janis Joplin - Try (Just A Little Bit Harder)
