Blue Dragon Records is an independent record label promoting local Asheville, NC artists with record compilations, video documentation and merchandise distribution. These tools are combined with fundraising efforts for local organizations and include marketing and promotional events for participating artists. All events produced and promoted by Blue Dragon include visual artists, dance troupes, slam poets, acoustic duets and good ole’ southern rock bands. A portion of proceeds will always be slated for the organization being supported by the projects being promoted : A minimum of 15% of Blue Dragon Records annual profit margin is donated to the Asheville-Buncombe Chapter of the United Way.
Every project on Blue Dragon Records supports a cause through a non-profit organization chosen by the artists. Compilations are to raise money for specific organizations. Mr. Romine and Mr. Aragorn have committed to returning as much money as possible to the artists and their chosen causes.
