While I am drawn to that "High Lonesome Sound" I also love some good ol rock n funkin jammon too....Of course my list would be topped by the greats like Grateful Dead, Janis, Allman Bros, Vassar Clements...I mostly listen to non-mainstream greats like you!!! But to name a few Deep Blue Sun, Ralph Roddenberry, Donna Hopkins, Snake Oil, Mad T Party, Railroad EArth, Donna the Buffallo, North Mississippi Allstars{yeah baby!!} The list goes on and I will add more!!!But I am partial to people who play that I know, love and have worked with at festivals....oh yeah did I mention Carolines Pond and Aiken, Leftover Salmon[I miss them] Blueground is sounding great these days,David Gans, Jim Lauderdale!!!
