My Interests

Music, Music Festivals, Organic gardening, Reading, My dogs, Dogs in general, taking lots of photos, old photos, I like to swim in the creek and go to the Blue Hole and canoe Little River. I would like to meet Jerry Garcia, but I probably would not be able to speak. I have met him in a few dreams over the years.Arthur Ransome, the Swallows and the Amazons, and the D's. L.M. Movies:

Any movie with Barbara Stanwyck. Every Alfred Hitchcock movie.Bunny Lake is Missing, The Uninvited, The Honeymoon Killers, Freaks, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Long, Long Trailor, Bringing up Baby.

Television:

I love At Home with the Braithwaites on BBC. They need to run that series again.

Books:

READING: A Voyage through Time, Space and Your Head. I love all books. Books by Rick Bragg, J.R.R. Tolkein, The Mists of Avalon series, Swallows and Amazons series, The Secret Life of Bees, Daughter of the Mountains, Books by L.M. Boston, Philippa Pearce, Mark Childress, The Butterfly Tree by Robert Bell, Audubon Field Guides of course, ....the list goes on and on.....I'm excited to know I have several books waiting to be read...a whole stack. Yippee! One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Cloud Garden: A true story of Adventure, Survival and Extreme Horticulture, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I also have several magazine subscriptions I love to read....The New Yorker, Smithsonian, Archaeology, Organic Gardening, Relix, Nature Conservancy and Bon Appetit.
