Welcome to the MySpace.com home for the Mosier Brothers, Jeff and Johnny (aka Good Medicine Bluegrass Band). Started by banjo player Jeff Mosier in 1988 the band offers professional private bluegrass music throughout the country for individual and corporate events of all types. Growing primarily out of Jeff's work with Bennett Brown of the world famous LowCountry Barbeque Company in Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff has thirty years of experience providing professional and appropriately crafted private bluegrass shows for individuals and companies in a way that pulls the music and the food theme together in almost motion picture like perfection. "We provide various configurations of bluegrass bands from a great pool of friends that I have played with for a number of years. This assures that what you are getting is indeed real, authentically and skillfully played bluegrass music by professionals. In addition, we can tailor our bluegrass to include more folk, traditional americana styles, or popular tunes from the past that fit the bluegrass idiom. We basically configure the band with the right mix of music. We also offer the option of a totally instrumental band (meaning no singing) and we strive to do your favorites if requested ahead of time. We also can write original tunes especially for that occasion or perform a number of tasteful tunes that you select that you think would fit the event according to your purpose. Based on our first conversation with you we determine the size of the band, whether of not a sound system will be required, and how to best utilize the band to meet your personal expectations. Professional behavior and conduct by all band members can also be expected due to the many years of experience and proven service by all of the players. Credible references are available from the private and corporate sector. We know that music that is well played and professionally presented can do more than anything to define the comforting environment of a party, and conversely nothing can ruin an event like inappropriatly loud music, poorly dressed players with no manners, or a band that doesn't exude the happiness and joyful stage presence that is a real part of any great live music. We strive to make the music work without ever upstaging the event on any level and by providing you with prompt. professional service that always includes prompt arrival of the band so you don't worry, discreet and visually non-intrusive set-up of gear, clear understanding of your needs prior to the event, professional business contracting, and always music that sounds good, authentic, skillfully played and appropriate for the theme and high standards of every event we play."404-626-5973 - Jeff Mosier
