On Tracy Lane, the brainchild of singer/songwriter Darryn Yates, is a modern twist on classic 80s pop rock. Schooled in the vocal stylings of Dave Pirner and Tom Petty, OTL captures the spirit of bands like The Cars while revising their retro sound with driving guitars and lush vocal arrangements. Some are calling On Tracy Lane a modern day Bon Jovi.
On Tracy Lane has opened for acts such as American Hi-Fi, Local H, Avril Lavigne, Phantom Planet, Butch Walker and shot a music video in Los Angeles for their song Back To Maybe, featuring Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five). On Tracy Lane's fans, 75,000 on their mailing list from the U.S. and abroad, have gobbled up 20,000 copies of the OTL EP.
On Tracy Lane recently signed with All American Music Mgmt., part of The Galgo Music Group. All the music you hear is demo work. The OTL camp is feverishly looking for the right producer to take OTL to the level their music deserves to go. The new OTL lineup is currently playing shows in Nashville and St. Louis. They are quickly catching the eyes and ears of the music industry as they prepare to showcase, tour, release brand new merchandise, etc. OTL is also searching for the right recording label to sign with. Stay tuned! Are you On Tracy Lane yet?
