Born and raised on the borders of Quebec and Ontario Canada, Nash is prolific in both english and french songwriting. This gift became evident when he first picked up a guitar at age 17 and made the finals in a provincial shocase with a french rendition of Kansas's hit song "Dust in the Wind".
In 1996, Nash started giging full time and recorded his first album with friend Emerson Drive fiddler David Pichette. This would lead to cabarets and summer festivals but Nash would continue to travel and write for some time.
The last two years have been spent recording the merger of all the different styles brought on by European, northern, central and south American cultures discovered through his travels.
The resulting Reggae/Folk/Pop style is obviously influenced by the likes of John Denver, James Taylor, Bob Marley yet seem as it were arranged by Sting.
Nash is also one of two lead singers for Smoke N Mirrors, a group appropriately named for the release of many different musical styles.
