Somnium is a 5-piece Ypres' metalband, formed in September 2007.
The idea started to live in Klaus and Robin a long time ago, long before Niels came in as rhythm guitarist ... But because the summer of 2007 was more like a party summer, Somnium really had it's kick-off in September.
After a long search in order to find a decent bassplayer, Bram entered
Somnium. Later on we also found ourselves a great singer in Kenji.
The first months we finished our first songs and recorded a sample to put on myspace.
Nowadays, Somnium is reaching a new level, our music is progressing and our playingskills even more.
We hope that what once started as a project will become a hell of a dream ... Somnium !
