The central Florida native started singing when she was 2 years old. At age 9, she was heavily inspired by newcomer LeAnn Rimes, and decided to follow in the young star’s footsteps. Whitney’s mother purchased several karaoke tapes, including LeAnn’s hit single "Blue," and Whitney began to practice on a daily basis. She would sing for anyone that would listen, and soon decided that she wanted to sing on stage for an audience, so she entered her first competition, the Little Miss Apopka Pageant. Whitney won the title of Little Miss Apopka performing "Just Around the Riverbend" from Disney’s Pocahontas, and the offers to perform around town began to pour in. At age 11, Whitney signed up for voice lessons with Orlando vocal coach, Ron Feldman. Ron taught Whitney how to use her voice properly, and helped her fine tune and perfect her vocal skills. By age 13, Whitney was traveling the state of Florida performing hundreds of shows at fairs and festivals, and opening for national recording artists such as "BlackHawk" and "Rascal Flatts." In September 2007, she opened for Grammy Award Winning Country Recording Artist - Linda Davis. And, in February 2008, Whitney performed the song Whisper in the SAG Independent Film "FINGERS" which was filmed in downtown Nashville by a group of young talented award winning film students from the University of Michigan. Whitney has also been featured numerous times in the Orlando Sentinel, The Apopka Chief, Florida Country Music News and the International Songwriter’s Guild monthly newsletter. While living in Florida, Whitney was sought after by Orlando area producers and management companies, and was offered management contracts by Millenium Entertainment, as well as Donna Wright of Wright Stuff Management; former management company for the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, PINK and New Kids on the Block. However, after winning the titles of "Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Female Entertainer of the Year" in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, at the "North America Country Music Association" competition, Whitney set her sights on Nashville. Three months later she signed a management contract with Fred Kewley Management, former manager to the late Chet Atkins. The trips between Apopka and Nashville became excessive, so Whitney’s parents sold their Florida home and made the move to Nashville in support of their young daughter’s music career. Fred Kewley soon introduced Whitney to singer/songwriter/producer Robert Ellis Orrall (producer of Yankee Grey and Michael Peterson). Together, Whitney and REO began writing songs and recording demos. These recordings lead Whitney to a production deal with Huff-Bright Productions, Dann Huff and Mark Bright; producers of Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, and Carrie Underwood. Whitney recorded a 3 song demo under the direction of Dann Huff and Robert Ellis Orrall. Unfortunately, Whitney’s deal ended with the closing of Huff-Bright Productions in February 2003. Dann and Mark dissolved their joint venture in light of their increasing popularity, and the demands being placed on their soaring individual careers.----------------------------------------------------

She has some exciting opportunities currently in development. "I’m 21 years old and ready to take my recording career to the next level," says Whitney. "But I’ve been extremely blessed to work in the music industry as a professional demo singer who is hired out by Nashville area songwriters and producers for studio session work. And thanks to myspace, I’ve met songwriters as far away as the United Kingdom, and have recorded demos for them. It’s a fun way to earn an income, and it allows me to spend a great deal of my time in recording studios doing what I love most .... Singing!" ------------------------------------------------------------
