Vincent Pablo

Vincent Pablo borrowed his name from the famous painters Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso.But this Vincent is neither famous for his paintings nor has he cut off his ear.He does however paint.He paints with sounds instead of colours for the last 18 years. He was born in a house where everybody s playing an instrument.At the moment 16 close relatives playing for a living. Vincent Pablo is a guitarist-singer-composer, but also plays piano,harmonica,drums. A well known musician in main land of Greece. He has an album on vinyl with the band graffiti released by MBI(music box international)in 1992(extreme pop-soul ep) and 2 songs (come on dance 2005-satirize 1,fun-love 2006-satirize 2)released by Hit factory productions.In the meantime he wrote for others.He played on more than 90 records as a session musician-angelo and his ego,sessions with arc duo, just to name a few(hit factory studio-patra,graffiti and b.live studio-larisa),all kind of genres(world-pop-funk-soul-rock-hard rock-fusion jazz-cinematic-avant garde) and he wrote the music for 4 theatrical scores.He was on tour for years all over in Greece with the bands masters- movies. He traveled and played,living for short or longer periodes ,in Sweden,Rhodes Island,Canarian Islands and lived also 3 years in Holland(a country that he loves much)where he played world music in front of 1000-2000 people( world -street-music festivals).He toured also with the theatrical team methexis in 2006 playing and singing live on stage . Very nice experiences indeed. In July 2008 his music is gonna be on tour again.(see info).VINCENT is a hard working musician who cant live without music and every single day he picks up his old 1959 model gibson acoustic and plays for 2-3 hours at least.INTERPLAY( latest recording) is a multi-textured Album,free of stylistic limitations and boundaries.Even though the 12 songs differ compositionally, one succeeds the other without many changes in key, blending sounds, voices, melodies, attitudes, truth and fantasy,in the same way a painter blends colours to create images, sometimes bright, sometimes melancholy. Rock-Pop- Indie Rock-World-AvanteGarde-Acoustic. Loneliness-Social Critisism-Truth-Nostalgia-Hope.
