Well, obviously I love art... but in addition to that, I also love to garden (when I have the time), photography, cooking/baking, traveling and of course shopping:) My husband and I like to head off on the occasional daytrip for some sightseeing -- and trying out new restaurants. We've also been trying to get out there more lately to check out many area festivals that would be potential venues for my art... I'm looking at a nice line up for next year.I've just opened an on-line shoppe for my paintings... I'm also working on adding a separate gallery for drawings and photography... check it out at;
Other artists and sculptors, people with an interest in art, photography, sculpture and doll making, etc.

My taste for music is rather vast. I enjoy rock, classical, and even some opera. But my favorite is classic rock and oldies :)

Love scary movies! The Ring, The Fog, The Others, Harry Potter, Lost Boys, Practical Magic, An American Haunting, etc. Also love movies about artists/art history. Films portraying how being an artist/creative persona affected their life. My favorite is Great Expectations. Also Phantom! I've lived in a couple of homes that were "visited" and I feel it's natural to develop an interest after having this type of an experience. The stories I could tell ya!! LOL!
Don't get to watch too much TV ~ but do enjoy a few shows on HGTV, as well as TAPS, Haunted Evidence, Ghost Whisperer<3 and Paranormal State.
Brian Froud's books are fabulous - loved the one about the crushed fairies! The Gnome book was always a big favorite -- it really gets the creativity flowing! Love to visit the book store and browse through the latest versions of the fantasy art books and mags, as well as the children's section to see what's up and coming. I would love to do illustrations for a children's book one day.
Walt Disney. He worked so hard to become an artist -- he almost gave up -- his characters were actually stolen from him twice before inventing Mickey. Then to draw something that became so vastly popular and to work with so many extremely talented people on movies that he quite aptly described as "Masterpieces". -- He got to live to watch his art come to life on the big screen! How great is that?!
