Hello! My name is Dawn Tarr....I am a full time visual artist, currently in Maryland...
i have been super creative since before I knew kindergarten existed... and oddly enough.. born on Van Gogh's birthday.....
Spent my childhood on a giant farm. .. Creating was an obsession since I can remember.
At that time, I had no idea that I would be using the creative flow to make my entire living, make friends, and see the world...
All through my school years, I was the designer of whatever needed.. bulletin boards, yearbooks, posters, murals on the walls of the gym... you name it......
After the school years, I left the Eastern Shore and was accepted into the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio, studying illustration, sculpture, and design.
After College I moved to Chincoteague Virginia, where the wild ponies swim... another really awesome place. I stayed for 5 years, painting murals on restaurant walls, names on the back of fishing boats.. I even painted squid underneath the boats , I learned this is to attract the fish.. hmmm ... I still wonder if that worked ?
It was time for a change. I moved to Cambridge Maryland, and opened a gallery for a short time, many fond memories from there, and friends I love dearly. Met so many creatives who inspire me constantly.
while in Cambridge, I discovered the computer and eBAY.. i have been selling there for nearly 8 years, have met the most awesome people all over the world..
Currently in the Snow Hill area, I am just riding the wave of life and amazed every single day at how far art has taken me in life..and changed the life of others. its been a great adventure.
I love spreading the word of art.. color and passion.. and hopefully when its all said and done, I will be able to continue this life in creating artwork that makes people stop in their tracks, put smiles on faces, and a dance in hearts. My ultimate goal through it all is to be able to mass produce my works in some way, that I can afford to really make a difference in the studies to cure A I D S ,( amfAR ) and CANCER research..as well as continue to bring life back to the Katrina Survivors..BRING BACK NEW ORLEANS!!! so many lives have been touched by all, and as long as I can continue to create, I have a goal.

Would like to find a publishing company or agent that can handle the amount of artwork that I produce, or have produced... whether it be fashion, decor, books, television, movies, set design, whatever the images could possibly be applied to.
I am a serious artist, not a hobbyist or weekend warrior.. I have survived from my artworks entirely for the last 15 years, supplying gift shops and galleries, and interior designers, online sales, worldwide, with originals and prints .
