Chincoteague Inn

What was once known only to locals as the "Lollipop" is now known to locals and tourists alike as something totally different. In the early 1900's all that stood was a very small restuarant and bar attached to a working fish dock. After very long hours at work the fisherman couldnt wait to get into the Lollipop, have a warm meal, relax, and chat with friends. It wasnt very long after the mid 1900's when the Lollipop became the Chincoteague Inn. The main dining room was added in the early 80's featuring open beamed ceilings, very large windows with a view of the water and best sunsets on the island. Not to mention the freshest of seafood. The Pelicans deck bar took place of the fish dock (which was no longer in operation) in the late 90's. Making this what we all know today as the Chincoteague Inn and pelican's Deck bar and Lounge. At the Chincoteague Inn we still offer the freshest seafood, bought locally, and prepared fresh to order. Our dining room offers a full menu as well as a prime rib/seafood buffet. The buffet includes: crab legs, steamed shrimp, fresh fish, and prime rib, amoung several other items, including a full salad bar. The dining room is open from May 1 through December 1. We serve dinner from 4pm until 9pm. On our deck bar and lounge we also offer a full menu with a very laid back atmosphere. In the summer time the deck is open air. In the winter months we enclose the deck area for you to enjoy a perfect meal, and beautiful sunset all year long. We are open on the deck year 'round serving lunch from 11am until 5pm and dinner from 5pm until 9pm. The bar remains open until 2am, check blog frequently for Entertainment updates.
