I would rather have people hate me for who I am then love me for who I'm not!

About a year ago I found myself creating a whole collection of Day of the Dead art. It wasn’t like I was creating these pieces for fun, I had to create them. I was obsessed. Finally in December of last year, my mom died. She had bone cancer and with the help of hospice I was able to have her live with me her last year. I came to realize quickly that I was creating these strong boned skeletons to make up for the weak and brittle bones she had to suffer with. My skeletons were alive, could fly, had thoughts, and would continue to live even after death. Now, Mom to continues to live after death. I miss her and may each and every painting carry a little of her love! ~ Ungala

As well as doing art all the time I found myself writing. Writing poetry and I'm working on a series of short stories that are currently being edited for possible publication. Anyone interested?

I'd like to meet:

Music:

My daughter turned me on to the FALL OUT BOYS. Great lyrics. Especially these: I am an arms dealer Fitting you with weapons in the form of words And don't really care which side wins As long as the room keeps singing That's just the business I'm in, yeahI also enjoy TONIC and COUNTING CROWS. I must admit that I have over 400 CD's in my Jukebox. Everything from Classical to Cajun!

Movies:

THE MATRIX will be one of my all time favorites with HELLBOY right behind. CRASH was wonderful and I recommend that everyone watch it at least once. Oh and who can resist ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!

Television:

I hate television. We have one in our home, but only to watch rented movies. When ever I hear anyone tell me that they can’t fulfill their dreams because they don’t have enough time, I tell them to turn off their TV and don't turn it on again for a month. It's amazing how much time you can waist watching that little box and in my case, how much art you can create!

Books:

I love anything that grabs my attention and doesn't let it go. I'm currently reading ENDLESS NIGHT by Richard Laymon. WOW what a page turner! King, Koontz, and my recent favorite SINS OF THE 7TH SISTER by Huston Curtiss.

Heroes:

My wild husband who has no fear, loves to teach, is the best story teller in the world, and supports me in everything I want to do!
