A mighty pain to love it is, And 'tis a pain that pain to miss. ~ Abraham Crowley

About Me

"I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame that heals our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other." Elizabeth Kubler-Ross "Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love." Lao Tzu War can only be understood and put an end to if you and all those who are concerned very deeply with the survival of man, feel that you are utterly responsible for killing others. What will make you change? - J. Krishnamurti We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person" W. Somerset Maugham - and - just what in hells bathroom is an average body type anyway?!

Irony - my mom never saw the irony in calling me a son-of-a-bitch and i'm still giggling, oxymoronica, soulmingling, My very grown children (my babies forever), my beautiful daughter in law, Sarahcreative sharing, two souls embraced by love sharing one horizon, non-volitional living, thinking, wabi sabi, anamnesis as relates to platonism, understanding confrontation as an attempt to preserve a relationship, randomness, whim, celebrating impermenance, conversation, raising orchids, creating sushi - a marvelous discipline involving strict construct blended with endless creative possibilities, balance. I'd like to meet:

People who enjoy the unlimited power of thought and take the time to see the abundant beauty around them everywhere, all the time. To truly appreciate the bounty of Life one must reflect on that beauty, thereby rendering truest gratitude to the one radiant energy that gives rise to and pervades over all souls. That is the most direct prayer of thanksgiving. People who have a deep, abiding love & understanding of Wabi Sabi or those who believe they are interested in learning more about it. Any and all artists who feel they may wish to collaborate for the pure sake of art. Even if no one ever called you an artist, you know you are in your heart. Anyone who feels compelled to message me and point out bad spelling, etc, or simply to dialogue. See the smiles I cast your way and gift one to a stranger today. When I was young, strangers would smile at each other just like in the song and I believed they were all telling each other, "I love you". Not so much anymore. It frequently saddens me how frightened the public at large is of persons they have never met. They anticipate the worst and define each other by that. I still smile and say hello to everyone whose eyes cross my own. Sadly, too often, instead of simply returning a smile to a kind stranger, their heads turn away, erasing a chance encounter and unknown opportunity, rendering the friendly gesture obsolete. I shall smile always on you and you and you.

Photo and video editing at www.OneTrueMedia.com My beautiful Lola Star Lola and Thor Travis & Sarah Anyone can slay a dragon, but it takes a real hero to wake up each morning and love the world all over again. My three children who have taught me infinitely more than I been able to return over the past twenty eight years, and certainly more than I ever learned in the twenty four years before they entered my life. Thank you! Lola, Travis, and Thor. ----THOSE WHO FIGHT IGNORANCE AND SPARK THOUGHT--people who leave places and friends better than they found them--my baby Thor was always brilliant at that! ------those who wage war on the blight to intelligent thought that is political correctness.---Those who battle apathy ~ you get the idea.I know in my soul, which is a Dragon, upon which I ride to the edge of every experience, be it joy or tragedy as after all, that is value of the experience. Embrace all you are feeling, good and bad, all that is, all that is not. Your spirit can only grow in enlightenment if nurtured lovingly and in balance. As tragedy is embraced when encountered, the pain you feel as never before is the physical manifestation of the spirit expanding...growing pains. But just as the discomfort of an over exercized muscle the result is more strength (or capacity for the heart). This is only true if you will recognize it, does the unseen by my eye really exist? Expanded by the very same volume will be your capacity to love, graciously understanding abundant love offered carries with it, the moral imperative to return in it in equal. The sum of my life thus far convinces me, those having not shared or created tragedy, forgave or atoned, embraced and grown, then moving on, without lingering... never looking back over your shoulder at the dark..aware the experience was merely a vehicle, are not yet to be considered entirely trustworthy in matters concerning commerce of the soul. The experience was but a raft constructed to get you across the river, once reaching the other side, do not drag the raft across the land. Dismantle it.. build something new. Retain only your new brightness and capacity. Growing.. moving ever forward toward the limits of your experience..Dragons Ho! As you believe your life to be it will become, dark or light..'As a man thinketh, so is he in his heart' (unk). Infinite Blessings of your choice, David. --- Warriors of Peace and Light ~~"A string of excited, fugitive, miscellaneous pleasures is not happiness; happiness resides in imaginative reflection and judgment, when the picture of one's life, or of human life, as it truly has been or is, satisfies the will, and is gladly accepted." George Santayana ---- "How bold one gets when one is sure of being loved."
