I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Talking about myself is not my strong point, but I’ll give it a go. I am an artist, love to paint.Just a little Bio.I started making art very young, Big Chief pad and a box of crayons. I paint with both oils and pastels. I have shown in a number of galleries over the years and my works are owned by patrons both here and in Europe. I do all my own photo supportive work and love an execution challenge in painting. I have never limited myself to one subject and have created a series of emotive impressionism works in addition to my other works. I am not just a believer in “The pretty painting”, yet as I have grown older have found a place for those works as well on my easel. I hope you enjoy my page as I add more works of all types and face the challenge of the page creation here in My Space. I am excited to make new artist friends and engage in topics regarding art. I like working a large canvas, but have been painting somewhat smaller the past two years.I am married to my best friend, he supports my creative moods. I like reading a good book, traveling and cooking a gourmet meal for friends and hubby. We enjoy a good gaming night, board games as well as Magic, D&D and many more. I enjoy discussions covering many topics, such as philosophy global matters and sciences. Love music and poetry and of course art. I do some photo work also and enjoy the non- posed shoots the best. I prefer Black and white over color, but do like a great color photo. I would love to meet those with art interests of any type.Exhibitions Black Springs Gallery 1977Valley Center (best of show) 1978Tower Gallery of Art, Oakland 1991-92Center Gallery 1993Yorba Linda Art Center Gallery 1993 (one woman show)Java Arts 1994Riverside Community Arts Gallery 1994-99Ridge Park (On The Wall)exabition 2007Also a lithograph series MySpace Profile Photo Editor

Untitled Hunger address just that, starvation of children while we are so technologically advanced, we can put rockets into space, but can not feed the hungry. His Mothers Closet. This work deals with the human issue of cross-dressing. I painted this after I met a man who was a heterosexual cross–dresser. He relayed his story of a son who had committed suicide as a young teen after being ridiculed for having a father who was a cross-dresser. I was so moved by the man's loss and the fear that an uneducated public has of issues they do not understand. This bullying and harassment of this boy led to his death. It was a man arrested as a peeping-tom who had spread the gossip.Home photos.."Mama was a cowgirl" Macee Doxie Girl will forever live in my heart.

Giving temperateness in safe arms and cooing words. Indebted, for redness he has given that living liquid, which courses in me. Spectrum of colors in all the moments filled with aching smiles. My Beacon thank you for being you.1. It tells you that everything you do will always leave a mark.
2. You can always correct the mistakes you make.

The Company Of Horses, she carried me

I stumbled in the cold darkness, the air stung my face and my legs seemed unwilling to carry me as quickly as my brain insisted, " I need you, Macee is hurt".  I saw the lights glowing bright, ye...

"Untitled hunger"

"Untitled Hunger", it has a lot of symbolism, the DNA running from the empty can as the starving child stands on the threshold gazing at the night sky seeing the shuttle rocket lifted to the stars. ...

In The Company Of Horses

Psychic Vampires

I find that I grow tired of drama. Drama waste time and distracts us from moving forward in self-growth. On our path, we encounter those who for a better term I call psychic vampires, spinning webs of...

Nail in my wall

NAIL IN MY WALL, is just that a place to hang some work. As an artist I seem to struggle with the creative process versus that "What I should be doing with my time". Get a real life and earn big buck...
