.. width="425" height="350" ..I am an American songwriter, singer, and guitarist who was born in Long Branch, NJ and raised in the small town of Freehold, NJ over on Randolph Street. I was inspired to be a musician when i saw Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show when i was younger. This event had me purchase my 1st guitar at the age of 13. I ended up being the lead singer of my first band, The Castiles. After being recognized nationally, i performed in small night clubs along the Jersey Shore (mainly around Asbury Park). My shows would last in excess of 3 hours. I feel as though The Stone Pony in Asbury Park is my home where it all began, i like to show up there every once in a while and put on a show to bring about the good old days. In 1973, i started recording with the E Street Band and we had our first debut album come out, Greetings From Abury Park, N.J. Sales were low, yet i was known as a "critical favorite." Our music is about everyday ordinary problems that each and everyone goes through, ranging from love, war, family, friends, and the economy.
