To any and all who come by this page and have not heard Carl Ventis music yet, you are in for an awakening. So many indie groups, artists and songwriter's that you hear just appear to be average. Not Carl Ventis. I have had the opportunity and honor to sit with Carl on some occasions while he was working on and finalizing his CD. His view points are strong and the music can take you on a trip across life and back all in one little disk. Blaine Bowden's awesome guitar work, Darryl Henderson's amazing drum tracks, Joe Plass' smooth bass and Brian Hanson's moving fiddle work just are a few reasons just to listen and Buy this cd.Carl was born at the perfect time to have a Life as a musician! At the advent of rock and roll. He started to play the guitar at the age of 14 and has never looked back. His influences include The Beatles, James Taylor, Sting, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Paul Simon, Jude Cole, Toto, And so many more. He started to write his own songs at the age of 17 and in the past 2 yearâ€™s has won 2 major songwriting awards. He has also worked with the best as well John â€œJTâ€ Thomas keyboard player and engineer for Bruce Hornsby, Steve Hornbeak Musical director for Faith Hill, He has also opened for John Denver and the list goes on. Most recently Carl has set out on his own solo career and will be releasing his premier cd â€œA Day in The Sunâ€ in Mid January of 2008. He has been a member of the local music scene here in Central Oregon for the past 12 years. Carl is a regular performer at the Riverhouse . He dose not just play songs, he tells about his life in Music and how the songs he sings have played a roll. Carlâ€™s Own music is filled with honesty and a sense of who he is and where he came from. It is truly an entertaining and enjoyable experience to spend an evening listening to Carlâ€™s unique and yet familiar Brand of music

There have Been Lotts of people and great Bands that have made me who I am Musicly! However if I had not had the Kind of Famaily I did this could have turned out really Diffrent anyway. Gadget(My Cat and Best friend) Mom ,Bonnie and Kathy My Peeps, Summer,Mike,Maddy and Emma .The Beatles,Toto,Ron Abrams,Steve Hartwell,Jeff Wise,Bruce Springsteen,Jackson Browne, Blaine Bowden,lthere are so many More but Most important is God and his son Jesus who have led me to this Place and time! I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
