Movies:

Martin Scorcese is my favorite director. My favorite movie is Taxi Driver. I love something that's hard-edged and an incredible story that reaches in. Also Gangs of New York. Other faves are Pulp Fiction, A Clockwork Orange, Apocolypse Now.

My favorite romances are The Piano, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (seen it countless times),Garden State, When Harry Met Sally and Moonstruck.

My favorite frightening movies are The Ring (spooked me for a week!)The Mothman Prophesies and Jacob's Ladder. My favorite contemporary actors are Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Peter Sarsgaard, Laura Linney and Nicolas Cage. I must mention James Dean as my first love.

Television:

The Office and Scrubbs. Just hilarious. HGTV has my attention sometimes. I like music videos and Style. The History Channel when the're not are showing all that war footage.

Books:

I've read countless Steven King books. My favorite of his is Hearts in Atlantis. Biographies and nonfiction like astrology and history. To Kill a Mockingbird, Gone With the Wind and The Thorn Birds are special to me.
