people, bubble wrap, gravity, swinging (on swings, sorry creepy pervs who keep emailing me...), quantum physics, old stuff, words, photography, being upside down, noticing stuff and I like to sing pretty and I enjoy choralography.
I'd like to have my own Corey and Trevor someday.
And I'd like to ask Willie Nelson to be my dad.
Here's some stuff I like: Pixies, Tom Waits, Dropkick Murphys, Beastie Boys, Beck, Ween, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed, Neil Young, John Prine, Iris DeMent, Gillian Welch, Wayne Hancock, Hanks I and III, and of course my Loretti, pretty much most stuff on 4AD (old and new, actually) old school punk rock and 80s underground stuff, and okay I'll say it, Elvis Costello. Also I have a thing for a good requiem.
Coal Miner's Daughter is my favorite movie of all time and I don't care if you want to make fun of me for it. Beyond that, I like anything with painful death or tragedy in it, or basically any movie that makes me feel sort of uncomfortable in one way or another... I like funny movies, too. Documentaries are good, too. I suppose the only movies I tend not to enjoy are those girlie romance movies. They're gross.
I import my TV from Canada because Trailer Park Boys is funny as fuck. All other TV I only watch to make fun of. Accept The Office. That show's funny.
Quirky fiction, Walt Whitman, a few other poets, encyclopedias (for real), philosophy, Walt Whitman and um, books about Walt Whitman.
I believe we are all heroes. Honest. But especially James Inman. He can do stuff. Important stuff. Oh, and Corey and Trevor.
