Born in Islington London, 70's child, as a youth played heavy reggae music, having Jamaican Parents had something to do with that. Over the years of buying tunes my musical influences grew wider to include so many different styles. Djing at parties and clubs inspired me to experiment making tunes using drum machines and samplers. By the mid nineties i started playing at the Blue note legendary club night Anokha, dropping dub plates I made alongside Eastern Samples. With an Akai 950 Sampler i made "Equation" which was released on "Island Records" Anokha compilation. This club had the vibe, it was so electric, those who went will testify that it was the greatest club at the time. Best memories while rocking the dance floor was watching a rich array of cultures from all over the world flowing and getting deep with the groove and Bjork singing freestyle over some new fresh Drum and Bass, oh yes, Squarepusher and Talvin together live, was truely amazing.....Got even more inspired in the flow creating beats and weaving world music sounds in the mix. Played at the Vibe Bar, TheEnd, Fabric and 93 Feet East and festivals. Dj'd at various club nights up and down the place and started a a weekly at Bridge and Tunnel in Shorditch playing eclectic world funk. Later i joined with the Nasha collective playing Eastern Drum and Breaks at "Herbal". The night focused on Arabic and Eastern Soundscapes with heavy pressurized musical bass lines. Everybody rocked out, was so wickedly heavy!... In the last decade I have played in clubs worldwide from New York, Tokyo and Osaka to India via Europe (Germany, Brussels, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Finland and Vienna. Will continue to push the Worldwide envelope of planetary beats further into to future.. Directions- Breaks, Dub step, Broken, Funk, with percussive shaking planetary licks.. The mission is to celebrate our life on this planet by joining the dots musically and equally around the globe... Its all about balance!
