Secret Archives of the Vatican

Transglobal Beat Science

About Me

Secret Archives of the Vatican is a small, mobile, intelligent collective of musicians based a round a recording core of Louis Counter and Vince Millett. SAotV has released many private recordings over the years and several tunes have been placed on compilations in Europe and the USA. The band is powered by chickpeas.
SAotV plays live sometimes; they have played at festivals such as The Lizard, Greenbelt Festival, H3 and Cross Rhythms and at clubs such as Godheadz, Hubble Bubble and Costa Urbana. We'd do more gigs if people asked us to.
Tablas, fretless guitar, dub bass, flute, turntablism and more blend with the rhythms and modes of various parts of the world. Phat breakbeats tie it all together to create our own style of music. We don't know what to call this music....maybe Orientalist Dub or Transglobal Beat Science or sumthin' like that.....
Check out more mp3s of Secret Archives tunes on the Broken Drum Records website: www.brokendrumrecords.com There are also some mp3s by Uncle Riotous, some album cover artwork for download, a great links page, up to date news, band biogs and more. It's worth checking out - go on! You know you want to! Do it! Do it now!
