Launched in March 2008 and returning on the Last Friday of Every Month, Carnivalesque is the club night that will bombard the Brighton Coalition with Sensational Live Festival Vibes. Starting at 10:30 and ending at 4, we will cram 5 and 1/2 hours of enthralling live performances and DJ sets into each event. Not only this but we also guarantee to amaze our guests with a unique surprise act every month as well as presenting more weird and wonderful walkabout performances than you can shake a saxophone at!
We are taking inspiration from the sights and sounds of carnival as it is experienced on the streets of Notting Hill, cities of Romania, beaches of Trinidad and all over the globe. Don’t be fooled though, this is not a one dimensional club night. You can expect to find influences from many areas of performance including circus, theatre and burlesque. You will also discover a variety of musical genres – just take a look at our line up!
