Jessica Lauren - punky designer hippy (thanks Jen): analog keyboardista, harmonica queen, multi-instrumentalist, productrix. Cult figure on the London scene for over 10 years. Signed to Soul Jazz Records in the early '90s, then released the groundbreaking jazztronica album 'film' on M.E.L.T.2000. Featured on so many tunes from Joey Negro to Beatless, Catalyst to United Future Organisation, Juliet Roberts to Pops Mohamed, Mustang to Spooky. Currently working on new stuff in the likkle studio, preparing to release the Jessica Lauren Four acoustic project, playing organ and harmonica with the fab Barb Jungr, the beginning of a beautiful new musical friendship with Emanative (check out Petite Planète), and blues VERY occasionally! with ZuZu Bolin.Highlights last year: had an amazing trip to Goa with the Big Chill massive (thanks guys), surf trips to Hossegor (big up to Gabe and Lauren) and fab week in Cornwall (Tris Surf Shop in Porthtowan - they're the shizz!), my 3 months of fun with my gorgeous Lush Bahari street longboard.Lowlights last year: breaking my bloody ankle beginning of October (much better now) so bye-bye Bahari, and our lovely lil' chihuahua Cheeky Wah being run over.
