About Me

If you like Old Skool Soul, Funky and drippin' with Blues then you might like my voice. I am a Singer/ Songwriter/ DJ and have worked as a vocalist for Zap Mama (myspace.com/zapmama) since '97 with whom I toured the world and recorded 4 albums. That was and is still an eye-and-ear opener and as I love to challenge myself and collaborate here are some other artists I have toured and/or recorded with: Youssou N'Dour/ Sergio Mendez/ Ladysmith Black Mambazo/Krewcial/ Ultrasonic/ The Rootsource/ Raw Deal/ Arno/ Michael Franti/ DJ 4T4/ Flowriders/ Mark de Clive Lowe/ Sioen/ Lala Lover and The Legends of the Underground (see www.thebottomend.co.uk) On fridays I join Keb Darge as a resident DJ partner at his legendary Deep Funk Night at Madame Jojo's in Soho, London and I also DJ at the Apolo in Barcelona...More DJ nights coming up in the near future. Check the calendar for updates. I spin Soul, Funk, Disco and Blues...bring yer dancin shoes, you'll get sweaty.... At this moment I am working on my solo project which is a mix of old skool soul, blues and funk. Keep watching this space as an update on this project will be coming very soon. The tunes on this page are tracks I did with Zap Mama and a song I wrote in collaboration with Flowriders, new tracks from my soloproject will be uploaded soon, in the meantime enjoy some pictures and video's, check one of the first break dancing videos, guaranteed to make yer mouth drop!
