I am a profound person, evolving to a more whole human being. I try to live in the present moment. The past is just a memory, and the future exists only in our imagination. I do imagine a better world, a more peaceful world, but I try to stay solidly here right now. Music is a powerful tool for living in the present moment. Consequently, I spend alot of my time listening to or dancing to music. Let me feel the rhythym, the soul, the depth. I am partial to music with drums, because the drums help me bring it down into my body. Nature, animals, sex, meditation, physical exercise and laughter are also vehicles into the Now, but so are meaningful conversations with close friends, and an appreciation of all things beautiful and mysterious. I am not defined by my appearance, my occupation, my age or gender. I love fashion, glamour and festivity, but also my garden, simplicity, and quiet reflection. Kindred spirits, independant thinkers, wild and crazy do-gooders; that's who I'd hope to connect with. Those with insight and the will power to keep their Dream alive! In the grande scheme of things, We are all One, and although I may not be friends with everyone, I always try to hold this truth most dear.I belive that the human race is on the verge of a huge shift in consciousness, and that there is now a "critical mass" of people who are affecting this change. This shift in consciousness revolves around the awareness that we are all a vital part of the Whole, which includes all other individuals, animals and the Earth environment.All of us who feel this change coming need to first be in harmony with ourselves. This means challenging the Past as it exists exists within us, and freeing ourselves from outdated and stagnant habits patterns and emotions that date back to childhood. Only by being in harmony with ourselves and our bodies can we create real change in the outer world. This has little, if anything to do with money, material success, prestige or other superficial trappings of conformity. It is only by being at peace within oneself that we will be able to effectively make this world a better and more peaceful place to live.The more people who "get in the Now", the sooner this will happen.
