THE MEDICINE WAY
Let Light enfold me so that my inward eye may see clearly the Path that lies ahead. Let my mind be opened up so that I may recognize the signposts along the Way.
Grant me the wisdom that comes from understanding the true from the false. And guide my footsteps so that should I falter or stumble, tripped by former beliefs that blind me still, I may go forward with courage and with the determination which persistence bears.
Let me be embraced with the Love by which the whole Creation is moved, the very Essence of which all things are held together, dependent yet independent, whole yet individuated, in which all are my relatives.
Let me know the way that is the Beauty Way, the beautiful way, where all who will may walk in Beauty and where the end of the Path is but a new beginning to my infinity, and every new beginning is yet another ever-present moment in Eternity.

LOVER OF LIFE- I enjoy promoting true love :)
POLITICAL ACTIVIST
I love film/video- working behind the scenes more than in front.
This is a showcase of some of my greatest loves- music, of course, included.
Currently, I'm working on a demo cd and a documentary by a local director.
In the beginning of this video, there is a 2 minute video collage that a friend edited for me to submit to MTV to have my own reality show. I'm sure they'll dig up this video at some point in my career.
"Lovers"~ all work by Blue (except some of the photos)
***I've found the video to play better when viewed on the page that hosts the video.
Click on the word "Lovers" at the top left corner, above the video player box. Lovers

The following music/video I put together by myself as well. I wrote and recorded this song, "Don't You Worry".
It's about unconditional love~ I mean SERIOUS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, when you're smacked in the face with it, like what I imagine certain parents feeling for their children or certain lovers feelings for one another.... it's a place, a thing, something or someone invisible....the feeling is what I'm speaking of,
so just FEEL me....

In South Philly projects born and raised, a playground is not where I spent most of my days.[I moved to North Philly- Broad & Olney- when I was 7 yo and to Seattle, WA at almost 20. I moved back to Philly at 28.]
I've been in love with music as far back as I can remember. It's what kept me warm MANY emotionally cold nights and physically chilling days. It's helped me cry when I've needed to most. It's made me smile when I didn't think it was possible.
Music loves me like no other, and I love it just as much. It is my lover, best friend, parent, child, sibling and muse. It wasn't until I was 25 though, that I began to take music seriously- as a career. Guitar has been a passion of mine since I can remember. Prince has been one of my favorite artists since 1984- Purple Rain. I have my brother to thank for that. He loved him, so I got to hear all of his music through his purchases. When I was a kid, I used to play rubberbands- literally. I loved the sounds they made. I'd play pots and pans and tables too with wooden spoons and random thingst. It's only now when I look back on my childhood do I see how much I longed to play music. I never really took it seriously as something I would pursue whole heartedly. It's a baring of my soul that I don't think I was ready for when I was younger.
My "goal" in life isn't to make money, it's to MAKE MUSIC- and share it. I do not care to be tainted by "big business" in the music industry. I'm not looking for "high profit margins".
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR ARE PEOPLE TO RESPECT AND APPRECIATE EACH OTHER'S INDIVIDUALITIES/IDIOSYNCHROSIES AND SHOW COMPASSION INTERTWINED WITH TRUE LOVE FOR ONE/SELF/AN-OTHER.
I aim to make most of my songs ones that people of all ages and walks of life can sing, dance, listen to and/or enjoy in some way, while being true to the expression of the song. I wish to share the things in life that have brought me the most pleasures and insights that have helped me through my most difficult and seemingly unbearable moments.
I enjoy uplifting people and empathizing with them, so that they don't feel alone and afraid during their darkest times. Art allows me to do that and music is one powerful and effective way for ME to BE ME FULLY. May you feel some of what I speak of while experiencing my creations.

Chief YellowHawk's Prayer
O Great Spirit, Whose voice I hear in the winds, and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me, I come before you, one of your children. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made, my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may know the things you have taught my people, the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy, myself. Make me ever ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades as a fading sunset, my spirit may come to you without shame.
How many would be brave enough to do this
