I was influenced by music at an early age. I remember sneaking my big sister's cassettes to my room to endulge in U2 or Depech Mode. As years went on my influences flourished from ALTERNATIVE, NEW WAVE to years of strictly HARDCORE and PUNK then later on FUNK & oldschool HIP HOP came in the mix. I even found interest in a variety of Hindu BAJANS and KIRTANS with thier intoxicating melodies which led me to take up a few mrdanga drum lessons. I started taking guitar lessons in highschool and began exploring the possibility of creating my own music. I knew music was my love and that just knowing what you love is alot so it was time to get moving. In the mid 90's I was acting in plays & films. In 2004 I was dancing for a touring show and singing backups for various artists while experimenting with song writing and secretly jamming out in my room. Just a guitar, pencil and paper. After years of planning I left PHILADELPHIA arriving in LA in late 2005 & gradually the idea of acting was lost by the drive of singing and song writing. Needing help with production I found Chris Hurst of the band "Head of Destiny". His talent helped me get the songs out of my head and start recording. With Chris's collaboration my songs developed and the interesting variety of musical influences along with my personal expression finally came to be songs from my heart. My EP is now available.
