My Interests

My Tribe

I'd like to meet:

people who are unpretentious
people who are real
people who, when they say they are your friend, they really are
people who understand and practice mindfulness
people who don't act cool
but instead are just naturally cool
because they are cool with themselves
without constantly having to make an effort at it
people who choose to be more interested in others than themselves, because it really is a choice
people who are not attached
to what they have acquired
or how they are percieved
people who are willing to let go of it all -
if by letting go of everything, it will make you more human.....

We really have to understand the person we want to love.
If our love is only a will to possess, it is not love.
If we only think of ourselves
if we know only our own needs
and ignore the needs of the other person
we cannot love.
Thich Nhat Hanh
