"Catherine Bent is a true artist. Like a kite on a string she makes her string arrangements soar into the ether, while holding on to the melodies she is writing to. We first gave Catherine the material for our second album "Candelabra Cadabra", and wondered what she was going to come up with. A short time later we were asked to come to her studio where her musicians were assembled to play her arrangements on our material. I couldn’t believe the beauty and magic of what she had written. It brought a tear to my eye. Catherine is a superb arranger and player and I would recommend her for any gig requiring cello or a string section."
