About Me

Odalisque in Ashes is the new project from Unto Ashes alumni Natalia Lincoln and Mariko. The group recently had their debut at Irving Plaza on September 7th opening for Dutch Gothic Metal band Within Temptation. Previously, their sound was heavily influenced by their recent collaboration with "East Side Tribal" band Djinn, giving their Unto Ashes standards an Eastern flair. Odalisque in Ashes' future sound will draw heavily on psychedelic trance, melding the electro-medieval influences of Qntal and Helium Vola with the transcendental beats of Infected Mushroom and Nystagmus. Though a departure from their work in Unto Ashes, Odalisque in Ashes carries on the exquisite romanticism of Lincoln's composition and the sweet blend of female voices that Unto Ashes fans have come to know and love.
