Mariko is a classically trained singer and violinist. She is a graduate of The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music in Vocal Performance, and has studied the violin since she was 7.
Mariko has performed in various mediums including Musical Theatre, Opera, Gothic, New Music, Medieval Music, and even a brief stint in a Pop Punk band. She has also studied numerous instruments including mandolin, guitar, piano, bass, harp, hammered dulcimer, and percussion. She is also an accomplished songwriter and already has a growing collection of songs.
In addition to being a singer/songwriter/violinist, Mariko has also had acting experience and has been in numerous Musical Theatre productions that have required her to act and dance. To further her studies in acting, Mariko attended and graduated from the Acting for Film program at the New York Film Academy. She has studied German, Italian, French, and English diction and is currently learning the German Language. She is also a very competent sight reader and has almost perfect pitch.

Lead singer of the Gothic Band Unto Ashes (Projekt/Pandaimonium)
Collaboration with Singer/Songwriter Andrea Pisani.
Mariko has previously toured with Qntal on their Silver Swan Tour where she performed with Unto Ashes and joined Qntal (Drakkar) onstage as a guest vocalist and violinist.
Mariko is available for hire as a studio musician, event singer (weddings, funerals, national anthems), and other freelance work. She is very committed and learns music quickly and efficiently.
