“I AM NOT JUST A STAND-UP COMEDIAN, I CONSIDER MYSELF A WELL ROUNDED ENTERTAINER.”These seven letters in my name describe who I am; R-A-Y L-O-V-E. Real and Always Yearning, Live, Original, and Very Entertaining. My motto is “One Love, All Love, Good Love, cause I’m Ray Love.Ray Love was born Raymond William Colbert Jr. In Chicago, Il to Raymond & Earline Colbert. Ray always wanted to be an Actor since the age of five. His three influences were Jackie Gleason, Redd Foxx, and Bruce Lee. Ray was always a natural; he was the Class Clown from Kindergarten to finishing College. He started doing Plays in College and enjoyed the good times. After College, Ray began being in films developing his Acting skills. A Comic by the name of “Whistle” encouraged Ray several times to do Stand-up Comedy. A month later, Ray tried it at an open mic spot, and has been doing it ever since. With all the shows he rocks, bombs, or get booed, Ray won’t quit his Stand-up Comedy. Ray Love”s versatile Comedy Style is known to get some or a lot of laughs out of any crowd. He describes his versatile style as “THE NINJA OF COMEDY!” because he has a lot Comedy Weapons. In his Comedy Act, Ray is very energetic, he has a ton of stories, very animated, does a lot of impressions, and he’s a ventriloquist. In the summer of 2005, Ray Love was nominated at The Chicago Comedy Awards for two catergories; New upcoming Comedian, and Impressionist. Ray Love is not just a Stand-up Comedian, he’s an Actor, Comedian, Impressionist, Ventriloquist, Entreprenuer, Hip-Hop Dancer, Tap Dancer, Rapper, Songwriter, Director, Producer, Playwright, Drummer, Reggae Singer, and Martial Artist.“SO IF YOUR LOOKING TO LAFF YA ASS OFF AND YOUR LIFE IS A DUD, LOOK-OUT FOR CHI-TOWN’S OWN RAY LOVE!........
