On June 10th in the city of Long Beach a star was born. The little diva was given her stage name from her mother. "Mz. NENA moved to the city of Carson at the age of six. Musically inclined she begin to write her first R&B song called Why You Always Trippen for her R&B group called Forever Girls. She began to write poetry, Raps and R&B songs for years until recently she aggressively decided to pursue the Music industry as a career. She has a repertoire of skills such as Dance, Acting, Songwriting, Rapping, Singing and Reciting Poetry. She has auditioned for AMERICAN IDOL and out of about 4300 singers made it to the top 50 audition. She auditioned for the Missy Elliot show ON THE ROAD TO STARDIUM, out of about 800 females she made it to the top 20. Late but not less she just recently auditioned for the TLC show ARE YOU THE GYRL In which she was personally chosen by T-Boz & Chilli to be one of the contestants to become the third member for their tour "World Wide Tour". The show aired live on National Television.Not only is Mz.NENA on the raise to stadium in the MUSIC INDUSTRY but shes also in the FILM INDUSTRY as well. Her last project she worked on was on the film COACH CARTER she has been blessed to work along side of talented actors such as Samuel L. Jackson and Ashanti. Mz. NENAs currently working on her independent album. Mz. NENA can not be placed in a category she stands in a class of her own. Her plans for the future is to get signed with a MAJOR LABEL that is willing to put forth as much energy, money and time into her as she does her music. Mz.
