The state of Hip-Hop seems to be at a stagnant position. What used to be an artform that encouraged MC's to be original has become a genre that has been overcome by bureaucracy, causing established and aspiring artists alike to sacrifice creativity and artistic integrity in order to conform to today's dumbed down standards.
