MEET ME ON WWW.JULIANSFLIGHT.COM - EXPERIENCE THE FLIGHT!

About Me

53 Year old guy who loves music, music, music & music. Oh yeah, and arts & literature. Please see my lounge at www.juliansflight.comYou don't have to find it, it will find youThe other day I was waiting for my order to come through at my local Chinese take out. Suddenly this apparently very old, very frail Chinese lady emerged from the kitchen, slowly making her way through the crowd of customers, waving her cane, softly muttering Chinese words. At moments like these questions pop up in my mind. Where would she be born? Is she happy having lived such a long life in an environment that is obviously still- alien to her? Is she taken care of properly? Are we taking care of eachother in a proper way? Sometimes the world can be a cruel, bitter and cold place. Sometimes its hard to appreciate the sunshine, the babbling of the water, the rushing of the wind through the branches. Sometimes we need to get away from it all. Where can we take shelter, where can we find refuge? In art maybe. Paintings can make us see reality in a different way. Every dark cloud has a silver lining. Poetry can fill the heart with joy, can make you think different, feel different, find new meaning. Can make you see things from a different perspective. Music always soothes, makes you alive. Or makes you settle down for awhile if you need just that. Music is a healer for everyone. You don't have to find it. It will find you. It will find the way to you heart, to your senses, to your soul. It lifts you up or leaves you numb, in amazement. Go with the flow of the rhythm. Loosen your muscles. Let go of your anguish. Just let it take you in. Sit down and listen in silence. Or stand up and dance, dance, dance. If only we would be willing and able to express ourselves in music always, communicate through music. The world would be a better place then.. The proof is there. If nothing seems to be helping anymore, musicians like Bono, Sting, Bob Geldof and Peter Gabriel step in. They make the difference where its obvious there are no solutions. Yet they achieve them. Small miracles, big miracles, but miracles nonetheless. Their voices are heard. Music connects the world, goes across the world, unites people, gives people a voice. Everyone can relate to that. You, me, politicians, world leaders, religious leaders. Just listen, listen! Feel it, let it work on you. Let music be your language. Let music be your translator. Enter www.juliansflight.com, have a seat, or walk in the aisle, have a chat, or just sit back and relax. The Flight will take you to places you never thought existed. But they do, yes they do. Voices and sounds. Simple, intricate, groundbreaking, recognisable. irresistible. Let the Flight take care of you, just for a while. Let the Flight revive you..... May it inspire you. WWW.JULIANSFLIGHT.COMI'd just like to add this: STOP THE MISERY IN DARFUR. "Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great... you can be that generation" - Nelson MandelaI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
