..This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5------LEO MINAX was born in Belo Horizonte, capital of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, where he formed his first band -CÂNFORA- with Marcelo Sarkis, Guto de Almeida, Silvinho Graciano, Pedro Duarte, Toshio Takahashi and Wagner Terenzi.---------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ----BONITO DE ESCUTAR, his first album as a soloist, was released in 1996 in Madrid, featuring Toninho Horta and Suso Saiz. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------In the year 2000, Leo Minax released SOL NO BREU. This album features guest performances from two important Brazilian musicians, both from Minas Gerais: Sérgio Santos and, once again, Toninho Horta. Other contributors include Spaniards: Suso Saiz, Mercedes Ferrer, Luís Pastor and Polo Ortí.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -In 2003, Leo Minax released “STEREO 13, his third album. Suso Saiz took charge of the production – although he also appears on the album as a musician – and Guillermo Quero acted as coproducer. ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------2006 - FOURTH ALBUM-----This album -AULANALUA- features contributions from such great Brazilian artists as Moska, Arnaldo Antunes, and Marina Machado. Important Spanish musicians also participated, including Iván Ferreiro, Javier Álvarez, Javier Vercher, Huma and Borja Barrueta, among others. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------This album includes a “making of” DVD (with recording sessions and interviews) produced by Marinho Antunes in Madrid.
