About Me

Hello. My name is Shaun Farrell . I'm an aspiring writer (well, I actually do write. I just don't get paid much), a podcaster, an actor, a public speaker, an interviewer, and the founder of Singularity Audio. You'll find information on most of that here. Thanks for dropping by.
News: In May I am performing in a production of Holy Ghosts, a play by Romulus Linney. The show runs all through May, and I'd be honored if you San Diegans came to a show. The theater location and showtimes are at my website .
Singularity Audio is my podcasting consultation company. If you want to learn how to podcast, and if you want a human voice to guide you through the early steps, I am here to help you get started.
We also specialize in creating book promos for authors. Book promos are a dynamic and powerful tool to seperate your book from the other 100,000 titles published each year. We will work under your direction to make the promo absolutely perfect, and we'll give you a marketing plan to best utilize the promo. Below is a sample of a promo we made for Toby Bishop's The Horsemistress Saga series. Please contact us if you are an author interested in having a promo to market your work.
And here is a promo we made for Sideways in Crime, a new anthology edited by Hugo Award nominated editor, Lou Anders.
Praise for the Singularity Audio Book Promo Service
"I loved the promo that Singularity Audio did for my new sci-fantasy book. Shaun Farrell does it all: writing, producing, voicing, and he has great knack for all three. It was a kick to hear it podcasted on Adventures in Scifi Publishing, one of my favorite interview shows."
- Kay Kenyon, author of Bright of the Sky and A World Too Near
"Creating a promotional piece with Shaun at Singularity Audio was nearly effortless. It was a pleasure, and I'll do it again!"
- Toby Bishop, author of Airs Beneath the Moon and Airs and Graces
There are also services for businesses and teachers. And if you are a writer who wants your book adapted into audio, drop by the website and see what I can do for you.

Some past guests include Kevin J. Anderson, Tobias Buckell, R.A. Salvatore, Robert J. Sawyer, Kim Harrison, J.C. Hutchins, Tee Morris, John Ringo, Vicki Pettersson, David Webber, Tad Williams, Dan Simmons, James Van Pelt and many more.
