About Me

This is the story of Tee Morris , a guy who always wanted to be an actor...and found a career in writing.

That wasn't the Master Plan of World Domination, of course, but Tee's overactive imagination and supportive parents (who realized that Tee's talents were not in the baseball diamond or the basketball courts) encouraged him to explore music and theatre. His past productions included The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack), Our Country's Good (Ralph Clark), Figaro (Figaro), Much Ado About Nothing (Dogberry), and a small day role on the set of HOMICIDE: Life on the Street.Tee was busy pursuing the dream of a professional actor...until he played privateer and scoundrel Rafe Rafton for the Maryland Renaissance Festival . This character led to him joining an online open RPG, his meeting with Lisa Lee, and the 2002 historical epic fantasy, MOREVI The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana , published by Dragon Moon Press .

After this, everything changed.

Tee has appeared in Dragon Moon Press' The Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy and The Fantasy Writer's Companion, both titles earning the distinctions of finalist for ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year award. He penned Billibub Baddings and The Case of The Singing Sword , and it received an Honorable Mention for ForeWord Magazine's award, and was a finalist for the Independent Publisher's Best Science Fiction and Fantasy.

In 2005, Tee came up with the idea of podcasting MOREVI in order to promote its sequel, Legacy of Morevi. This podcast led to the founding of Podiobooks.com and collaborating with Evo Terra on Podcasting for Dummies from Wiley Press.

With his on-stage and behind-the-scenes experiences from theatre, radio, and television as an actor, Tee continues to explore the possibilities of podcasting with The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy , a podcast that explores marketing and self-promotional concepts for published and soon-to-be-published authors. Currently, he's podcasting Billibub Baddings and The Case of The Singing Sword and is already looking to 2008 with a production of Legacy of morevi...provided the dwarf detective doesn't kill him first.

And somewhere in the middle of podcasting, setting up a MySpace, and life itself, Tee's got a few more books underway. Stay tuned.
