About Me

I'm living in Bangkok Thailand for the next six months or so.
I got a contract (job) and left on seven days notice. I'm still getting used to being here.... but what the hell, it will be more interesting than another summer in a city (Los Angeles) I know all too well.
---------------- I like to go see bands, hear music/noise, see DJs and share music online. I likey da noise music, also acid (house), Drum N Bass, breakcore, breakbeat, uncategorizable weird stuff... and my recent obsession has been Italo Disco. I like to get out and go boogie every now and then, don't you?
I work in a specialized niche of the IT industry as a computer programmer. I got into this field so I could be a contractor and quit my job every six months and travel.
I like to watch movies.. Netflix was a favorite obsession when I lived in a country that had it. I suppose I'll eventually be forced into using BitTorrent these days. I'm a fan of Herzog, Bergman, and Fassbinder.. and curious about other simialarly dark stuff. I think Jodorowsky is awfully pretentious, but I like 'em anyway.

Right now I'd like to meet more people living in BKK.

But generally... I like interesting people who do interesting things... who work hard.. who take chances.. who like ot have a good time...who don't always buy what is being sold.... who haven't let life turn them mean...who venture outta their comfort zone often.. who dance....

Music:

I listen to music a lot. Mostly I like electronic music and noise.

Recently I've been obsessing over Italo Disco--- like Mike Mareen and Georgio Moroder. I may be a corporate whore toiling in a Westwood high rise, but it sounds like an early 80s gay bar in my head.
