About Me

"A young emerging guitar virtuoso in the tradition of Joe Satriani and John McLaughlin" - (Jonathan Wilson designer of the GuitarViol)www.bowedguitar.com"An amazing guitar player who performs beyond his years. WOW!" - Joe Stevenson (95 Rock DJ)Keith Maples, jazz/blues/rock guitarist and songwriter was born in Lake Jackson, Texas and raised in Augusta, Georgia. Keith has played in many different bands and in many different settings. From his old band opening up for Rock superstars, Three Days Grace, performing live with members of James Brown's band, to jamming with some of the top musicians in the business, he has developed a wide range of styles that he incorporates in his music. His playing hints at everything from classic blues and rock to gypsy swing and bebop as well as other traditional world music. He plays and studies a variety of instruments including bass, kanjira, drums, piano, sitar, and violin. Currently, he is in the studio finishing up a new cd featuring Rami Jaffee on Hammond B3 and Erik Eldenius on Drums.
