I am a strong advocate for children's rights, rights for the disabled, epilepsy education and awareness, and working together to make a difference. I have epilepsy - diagnosed just 4 years ago. I know what it is like to live with this neurological condition, and am a strong believer in education / understanding and acceptance of epilepsy. My youngest daughter, 24 years old, has had epilepsy since age 9. It's been a rough road at times, but it's been great to have a traveling companion.
I am a mom to 7great kids (4 boys, 3 girls, aged 13-34), with 13 wonderful grandchildren and a fabulous husband that I have been married to for 27 years. My family is my life and I thank God for each and every one of them, each and every day.
I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the men and women serving in the US Armed Forces, and their families. They will always have my undying gratitude and support.
