About Me
Ravior. [ravior] (ray vee ar) n.
Listed in WA's "Groove Magazine" as one of the bands to keep our eyes on, Ravior hit the scene in late 2006, and hit hard with their infectious and powerful live show.
Ever since, Ravior have been injecting something fresh into the hard rock scene; An ever infectious sense of rhythm and groove, melancholy, and a hint of menace, all interlaced with tasty undertones of alternative rock's halceon days.
After a few regional tours, and sharing the stage with the likes of Birds Of Tokyo, Dead Letter Circus, Hope Here Gone, Crysis, and supporting USA hard hitters Death & Desire on the WA leg of their Impact World Tour, Ravior are set to launch their debut EP, "Sub Rosa".
Recorded in Wing Command and Couch Studios in Perth and Fremantle respectively under the watchful eye of producer and mixer Adam Spark (Birds Of Tokyo, Dyscord, Hope Here Gone, etc.), and mastered by Martin Pullan (Hope Here Gone) at Edensound in Sydney. The disc, now greatly anticipated amongst Perth's alt-rock fraternity, is set to launch come time for the summer 08/09 festival season.

The word on the street...

"Watch them fly..." - Stevie D, S.L.A.M.

"A great blend of modern rock with a hint of stone temple pilots' rawness. I like, I like. When can I hear more????" - pink geek, JJJ Unearthed
"Ravior are sweet. Had no idea they were so good at what they do. Not metal but the whole heavy rock melodic thing. The drummer kicks ass, and guitars. And vox... - Tommopeth, Perthbands.com
