Hailing from the northern suburbs of Perth, Cameo Thieves are a dynamic and energetic five piece original rock band who have been firing up Perth venues since 2007.
All five of the “Thieves†have previously played in Perth bands, between them covering a wide variety of musical styles and genres. Despite the diverse backgrounds and taste of the band members the Cameo Thieves deliver a solid, in-your-face and polished performance capable of captivating any crowd. Live shows and crowd interaction are the strong points in the Cameo’s arsenal.
Although the “Thieves†could be described as a punk rock band, they incorporate a mixture of chunky breakdowns, pacey beats, driving guitar riffs dynamic vocals and even acoustic melodies forming their own brand of exciting and energetic music.
Playing at some of the best hotspots in Perth, Cameo Thieves have made an instant impression on Perth crowds, playing alongside great bands like Hope Here Gone, Calerway, The Simian Line, Crysis, Elora Danan, Fifty Sixx(NSW), Dyscord and many more. With more recordings on the near horizon, the "Thieves" are set to keep attracting the attention that they deserve with the release of their debut EP.
