Plan B

Plan-B consists of Nato Caliph and lyfestile; Two St. Louis based emcees with impressive track records that came together for one purpose. That purpose is "Altered Soul" the upcoming album on F5 Records. Altered Soul is a testament to the hard work of two brothers from two different crews (lyfestile reps Altered St8s and Nato made his mark with the Soultyde crew). After a chance meeting in 2005 the two of them began collaborating on song ideas and ended up with an album's worth of material. Although each of them has previously released cds and vinyl: Altered Soul is a new experience, literally combining the best of both worlds. Nato and lyfestile work as a team to provide lyrical gems that stimulate the mind and the body. They "build" on everything from male/female relationships to hip hop culture and social commentary. The science is there, but the record is also undeniably entertaining. Musically Altered Soul ranges from upbeat and bright to dark and menacing. lyfestile produced the bulk of the album, but there are also contributions from notable producers such as: Cave Precise, DJ Crucial and DJ Needles.
