TRACK VANDALS

I wrote my first rhyme after I seen the fat boys perform live at the Fresh Festival. After I wrote that first one I wrote another one and another one and so on and so on and I never stopped. Slick Rick has been my idol since I first heard the show. From Rick I learned it was important to be a well rounded MC. I think I loved the fact that he had humor,he was smooth and he was extra nice with his skill level. Other rappers we grew up on were LL, Run DMC and most of the superstars of the late 80'searley 90's.W.street did his first show in middle school and been with a couple groups in high school. I met Donny De La Hoya a few years after high school when we at a grocery store together. I was already recording material and he was just getting interested in the process. At that time I'd have to say our biggest influences were Outkast, so me and Donny started writing and recording a few songs Donny ended up quiting the grocery store ton wrok at UPS and T-Smoove came to work with me. T and Donny went to high school together but had'nt really communicated that much.T had been writing for a minute so when me and smoove finally met it was a perfect fit. Not long after T came to work with me we all started to meeting up at my house recording,writing and making beats. At that time I was a huge Beats Nuts fan and a Alcoholics fan so I came up with the name that kind of incorperated the sprit of both and we all agreed to become the Track Vandlas. We started doing mixtapes, parties and opining up for nation artist such as Ghost Face,Common,Boot Camp, Tracey Twista and Wu-Tang. Our biggest hurdle all the time we've been together was finding our voice or our sound. In the end once we found that voice and our place in hip hop The outcome of what we produced is not why we do it, we do it because the love is in the process.WELL YOU WANTED TO KNOW THE STORY OF WHY THREE GUYS STUCK TOGETHER. LET ME TELL IT TO YOU!!!!!!!It all started a few years back 1999 to be excact. Right before the new millenium. Doran aka (wallstreet) worked at a local grocery store with Donny aka (DHOYA). TSMOOTH AKA TIWONE. WENT TO HIGHSCHOOL WITH DONNY. "WE DIDN'T EVEN HANG WITH EACH OTHER AT SCHOOL I JUST HAD A CRUSH ON HIS SISTER" DHOYA....SO ANYWAY DORAN AND DON DECIDED TO FORM A GROUP. AT FIRST IT WAS JUST THE 2. THEN TSMOOTH CAME IN WHEN HE STARTED WORKING AT THE GROCERY STORE. WE STARTED DOING LOCAL SHOWS AROUND TOWN. OPENING UP FOR VARIOUS ARTIST. WE ALSO MADE MONEY BY FORMING A COMPANY CALLED JUST BOUNCE WERE WE SHOWCASED LOCAL ARTIST SUCH AS THE ST. LUNITICS. ONE COLD NIGHT DOWNTOWN ON THE RIVERFRONT AT A SPOT CALLED KENNEDY'S BEFORE THE DEAL WHEN THEY HAD THE LOCAL JAM GIMME WHAT YOU GOT. THE REST IS HISTORY. THIS SHOW WAS WRITTEN UP IN THE VERY 1ST ISSUE OF THE BLAZE MAGAZINE WITH METHOD ON THE COVER. BUT WHO REMEMBERS BLAZE MAGAZINE. :) THE TRACK VANDALS ARE NOW WORKING ON THEIR MUCH ANTICIPATED 1ST ALBUM. THEY HAVE DONE LOTS OF MITAPE ISHH UNDER THE ALIAS LAND SHARK PRODUCTIONS. NOW THEY ARE TURNING THE CORNER. WITH A NEW ATTITUDE ON LIFE AND MUSIC.OUR MOTTO..... KEEP ROLLING.THATS THE NAME OF THE LABEL. REMEMBER THAT ALONG WITH HIT PRODUCERS KCITY,CHUCK DIESEL,RICH MONEY,JDEPP,KENAUTIS SMITH. THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP THE DREAM.
