About Me

KDHX FM 88.1 is a non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station offering a full spectrum of music along with cultural and public affairs programming. KDHX is a 43,000-watt stereo station broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week, within an 80-mile radius of St. Louis, Missouri , USA.
KDHX is licensed to the Double Helix Corporation, a a 501(c)3 non-profit arts and educational organization with a mission to foster community participation, knowledge and training in and through mass media, with the values of developing volunteer participation, supporting cultural diversity, promoting local talent, providing a forum for public discourse, and providing education through programming and training. The corporation is independent of any governmental entity and is not affiliated with any religious or educational organization. The KDHX offices and studios are located at 3504 Magnolia in the Tower Grove East neighborhood; its tower is located in Jefferson County just south of St. Louis. My Interests

Public radio, non-profit arts and education fostering community participation, mass media training, developing volunteer participation, supporting cultural diversity, promoting local talent, providing a forum for public discourse, and providing education through programming and training.

KDHX FM 88.1 is a community radio station, so volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We believe that acting as a group, we can make a difference in our community. We hand-select all of our music, with expert DJs showcasing both established and emerging artists. KDHX regularly features live in-studio performances and specialty programming dedicated to specific genres of music that you won't hear anywhere else in St. Louis.
